We may be the 9th best University but it still took me about 15 minutes to log onto the ancient computer they have in the library here. :jester:

Sussex has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years.

However, I question all the above league tables for not taking into account (a) the "recognised" degrees on offer, and (b) the difficult in achieving a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree in comparison with others.

For example, in the year that I was finishing Nottingham (7th at the time), they wanted to maintain their top 10 position so often gave 2:1s to students with an average of 58% instead of 60%.

Anyone who chooses a degree in order to attain professional qualification exemptions through degree modules should always check with the professional body which are the best university courses to do for exemptions rather than choose a top 10 university just because the FT and Times reckon that it is up there...

It's a personal opinion but I think Sussex University would be greatly improved by an adjacent state of the art sports arena.

The Times website still shows Sussex occupying a position in the 30's!!

Is this new table online?

Does that include all the open days, Lord B??

We used to take days off school at 6th form to travel down to random universities for pissups - and then justify it as "educational visits". :clap2:
