I reckon I've got that covered.

I also think that if Oxford & Cambridge can be counted as whole entities in this list then they should only be allowed one team each in University Challenge.

Oh yes: Manchester; Edinburgh; Birmingham; Glasgow; Liverpool; Newcastle.

However I have an actual degree from the University of Central Lancashire (formerly Lancashire Poly; formerly Preston Institution for the Diffusion of Knowledge; formerly Deepdale playgroup. One of those was made up.)

Surely to be university you have to offer a certain amount of courses? Not just be one faculty...

As a graduate of the School of African and Asian Studies at Sussex, I would defend SOAS as a Top University offering a far broader range of courses than a mere "faculty".

A world leader in many fields.
