Oh no, that's dreadful news. We mustn't think Hinshelwood, and must stay hopeful that the second operation (have the club confirmed this yet, or is it just Naylor?) is a complete success and he's back for next season.

There was no 'carthorse tackle'. There was no opposition player within 5 yards of Tommy when he went down. Simply one of those things.

Poor lad must be in bits.

Gutted for him. Genuinely seems like a pleasant chap and quite clearly highly thought of being the PFA representative.

Brilliant to see him geeing up the crowd in only his third or fourth appearance.

He has time on his side to get fit and also build on his performances thus far.
