I am so fed up with the Falmer saga now, I wish JP would just put us out of our misery one way or the other and lets get on with life.

If he says no, then we can look forward to a massive " Save the Albion" campaign...if he says Yes we can look forward to a massive " Help the Albion pay for the new staduim" campaign.

Did a day's recording yesterday - went really well. It'll be a 4 track EP with Tom Hark, a seriously ska instrumental version of GOSBTS, a 'singalong' mix and a skanking version of 'Roll Up For The Donkey Derby' - the alternative Palarse Cup Final anthem! Got the chanting we need in good quality from SCR so that's sorted too. Will be finished in the next few days
and the first live performance will be about 6 at Joe Strummer Remembrance Sunday at the Concorde.

Dave - under normal circumstances I wouldn't even dream of trying a crowd singalong - it was just for the recording, didn't work but that's sorted now.

As regards the chart, Otway got to No 9 with no Woolworths distro. As long as the records are sold through an outlet which counts towards the chart they count - all ours will be, simple as that.

Great news that it'll have "Roll up for the Donkey Derby" on it. I've been looking for a copy of that for a while.

This is going to be MASSIVE. I reckon we can get a number 1 if we get the word out through all the message boards early enough.

I'll certainly be buying more than 1 copy. It's the sort of thing my kids must have in their Life Boxes, along with the usual newspaper on their birthday, first shoes, first Albion match ticket, etc.
