When you have to play France, Portugal and Germany then hardly surprising and no shame in that.

And when you go through top of your group
without conceding a goal. No shame in that either.

Just for a moment I thought the German defender had done a Ben White hack

I've said it once and i'll say it again, i'd rather play Germany than Hungary. Also, i'm glad Hungary won't be going through.

Hungary....are they the ones who did racist homophobic chanting?

And they're out?

Oh dear. Never mind

Very exciting. Feel slightly more confident of our chances v Germany at Wembley than I did earlier having watched them tonight. Just depends which Germany and which England turn up - with the 1/4s game not being Spain, I’d have taken this today.

We are very unlucky to be playing them in the last 16 having topped the group - when you look at the likes of Wales and Denmark’s draws - shouldn’t have been 24 teams but it is what it is a Germany won’t be buzzing after tonight, it was slightly embarrassing. Come on England!!!!

Some comedy foul throws at the end by Germany not picked up by the officials

Well at least the Germans have had a tough run around, something England hasn't bothered doing yet.
Have a day's less rest.
&
Need to travel over.

Maybe winning the group in second gear wasn't so bad afterall.

I know ! Finish top = bad, finish bottom - respectable ???

The whacky world of the anti-England fan :lolol:

They aren’t even worth the time! Anything to spin a narrative - same with the big anti Potter posters on here this season. Oh well!

Yeah, but, but...

They scored more goals than us, and England are shit.

They had a harder group than us, and England are shit.

They have a full stadium, and England are shit.

Good God man!... Get with the programme, FFS.

We are lucky with our potential route after the Germany game though - swings and roundabouts!
