My mate who sits in the west stand (I'm in north) left on 88 and said that it was quite an experience to hear the Amex roar from just outside the station. I told him he also missed a a few other things in the last few minutes, but he said that it was worth it to hear that noise come from the stadium!

Its the car park in Bennets field is why some of the 1901 members leave early it can still take over 1 hour to get out, Plus I had to go as i got a shout for work. Its kind of weird that some fans moan about others leaving early what the hell has it got to do with them ,Mind your own business,

Only time I have left early was the Palace game, just couldn't watch after their 2nd went in! Wouldn't leave early at the moment as I would miss one of Will's last gasp winners!

I left after the third at half time. Then the fourth went in as I persuaded my bro that it wasn't worth sitting on a train with Palace fans all the way home. He agreed and we left. The fifth went in as we exited Smellhurst. Never been back to the scene of the crime. Maybe in few decades time when time has healed.

I've often wondered what the Amex roar sounds like from outside the stadium but I'd still much rather contribute to it from inside. So I guess I'll never know.

I'm sure it must sound amazing.. I'll never know either. I've left early before, but only by seconds. Definitely not early enough to be at the station while the game is still going!
