It's what it's called, not what it is - so I'm not describing the stadium. If I was, I wouldn't use the word 'stadium' for a start.

You wouldn't say "I'm going to stadium" you'd say "I'm going to the stadium", so I'm just adding 'withdean' into the sentence.

But it's not correct in saying that you're giving the name of the venue that you're going to.

Which I guess is what I mean whenever I say 'the withdean stadium'. I don't say "the seagulls' home ground is the withdean stadium." But I may say "They play at the withdean stadium".

I never say 'the withdean', just 'withdean'.
