Withdean Sports Complex
The complex boasts a wide range of sport and leisure facilities including an arena hosting athletics, league football and corporate events. Facilities also include tennis courts - 3 indoor and 3 outdoors, 8 squash courts, exercise studio, health suite, five a side football / netball pitch, crèche and a 50 station fitness gym.
Withdean gym incorporates a variety of both cardiovascular and resistance equipment and the health suite has a steam room, spa pool and sauna. The exercise programme offers a wide range of classes including yoga, pilates, bodypump, body combat, circuits & step which is supplemented by spinning classes which are run in the gym.
The venue is also the home of the highly successful Withdean Tennis Academy which provides coaching for junior and adult players of all ages & abilities. The tennis academy has obtained both LTA satellite & tennis clubmark accreditations.
The stadium has an all seater capacity of 9,000 and has ancillary facilities including changing rooms, toilets and hospitality suite. Currently home of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, Brighton & Hove, Phoenix and Arena 80 Athletic Clubs as well as a venue for school and club athletic events throughout the year. It has seen many corporate events held over the years including parachute appearances by the Red Devils, military performances with helicopter landings, firework displays, American football tournaments, corporate fun days and televised game shows.
