I think giving the ball away occasionally is something you have to accept with a player like Dicker. He's really clever at keeping the ball and threading passes but if he has a bit of an off day and those passes don't come off, he's bound to look a bit crap. That's just the trade-off with a skilful player. If he could do it week in week out and had a bit more pace then he wouldn't be playing for Brighton, so we have to live with the fact that the odd mistake is outweighed by the frequent occasions when he can win us a match with his vision.

I don't think anyone is doubting his ability, he just wasn't at his best last evening. He is actually one of my favourite players.
