You know, the ones that go round the BELLY and not their WAIST like what they are meant to. What's all that about? Are women getting fatter so they have to hold their bellies in or something?

it's to do with drawing attention to curves rather than a belly, splits the body in half so-to-speak, interesting trend that is putting the concept of a beautiful 'silhoette' in higher regard to what actual clothes you wear - much like in the 50's.
