Getting 'your' and 'you're' wrong makes people look even more stupid IMHO. The second one even LOOKS like 'you are' so Gawd knows how some posters miss that.

This. I often use bad grammer and wrong spelling but really cant be arsed to correct myself, much like typing U instead of you in a text. As long as people understand what you are saying.

That it is a solecism to begin a sentence with and is a faintly lingering superstition. The OED gives examples ranging from the 10th to the 19th c.; the Bible is full of them.
