Sod the eyes, I'll need a pair of flaming binoculars if the news is announced in print that small.

Hillian do you know Daves mum? :D

Or is Dave a love child of yours?

He might be a lovechild of mine!...
Shes 90 ...to explain this all to her would take most of the evening.... im not sure how she is related to them, but something on my grandmothers side.
i first heard about the connection when the older Bloom was on the board.
Family funerals seem to be where she has met him mostly, and bless him, he gave her a lift home after the last one....
She was asking me if id heard of him haha..lovely man, lovely, made sure I was ok, and brought me home, very normal, lovely man...

Genuinley brings a tear to the eye and makes the hairs stand on end every single time I watch that. It simply encapsulates the sheer and utter joy football brings going from the vague memories of trips to the Goldstone, Prestfield and Withdean. Bitterly cold days with completely different football, the comparison between then and now envokes such great appreciation of the team and how we've survived and come out the other end. Vicente as I said, seems to encapsulate all of this. Turly wonderful video.

Great post PW...you make this mate?

no mate, i didn't, just an overly excited voyeur, reliving the sublime we all witnessed last season.

top marks to the person who did though........ the best player in the NPC by a country mile. and he may well be ours again

If true, the Season Ticket is going to be a bargain

I became a fan in 76, the early glory days of ward, mellor, sully, towner and the rest.

It's beena huge part of my life - but right now, the season starting in 2 months time, I think is potentially the most exciting step of the whole journey.

Brimming with excitement.

Fantastic if we do get him back, but even if we don't, that video sums up what a wonderful thing we were treated to in the second half of last season.

Bloody hope we do, though. Unstoppable!

I love that video. Every time I watch it, I'm pinching myself, to make sure I didn't actually dream the fact that a player of his quality turned out for us.

I'm not daring to let myself believe he'll come back yet.
