[Tony Meolas Loan Spell]

Tony Meola was the USA national team goalkeeper who played in Italia 90 and we had him on loan for two games. One of which was our first home game of the season against Wolves 1 - 1 where they scored direct from a corner. The other was away at Northampton in the league cup again 1-1 I seem to recall.

Beliebe it or not that was the original play off season.

He then went to watford for a trial before going back to the states I believe.
