Just got back from a countryside walk, around the back of Arundel.
After some fruitless chases my 1 year old retriever actually, caught and killed his 1st pheasant.

Very proud of the fella, as after the deed was done he just sat with it & waited for us.

The only problem is I now have a plump pheasant hanging up in my shed & have know idea what to do next.
I'd greatly appricate a step by step guide (idiot proof), to get it from my shed, & into a roasting tin. (preferably without touching it :lolol: )

In this day and age i find it a lot easier to drive down to my local Tesco or Sainsbury (or other supermarket) and peruse the cool cabinets for a tasty bird....................................it cuts out the bloodlust and nasty death stench that hunting with dogs creates:lolol: :lolol:

Oh congrats Bonzo on your first Kill:clap:

He's still wandering around all, 'billy big bollox'.
I'm sure I also caught him gesturing a middle claw, to our other labrador.

Lionel.

Although I think he should now be known as Lionel The Barbarian, or Lionel Lector.

The short list was, Dave, Nigel, Colin, Clive, Gary.

But as it turns out Lionel means little Lion, & he was the biggest in the little, & although not cat-like, he did have the whole big paw & neck ruff thing, going on.
