For this reason, I got a phone call earlier from one of NSCs finest, to say "how would you like to go to the Amex today ?" .... Unfortunaltely I had to decline for a prior engagement, but I was nearly there !!!!

Add me to the list. I genuinely didn't think I'd be this emotional about missing it. I've not been to a home game in about 2 years (having been a Goldstone regular, Gillingham regular and Withdean STH previously + away games) but was there through the war.

We won. THAT is the important thing. The first game is big, but the mere fact there IS a first game or a club at all is HUGE.
