15 minutes to go at our drubbing up at west ham last season. Furious with the team Gus put out and desperate to miss the rush for the tube.

Same here. As I was leaving there were a few still coming in. Poyet's selection was shocking.

edit; sorry mis-read that post I left after 15 mins!!

VS Chester at Withdean in 1999, we'd just gone 3-2 down with a last minute winner and people were streaming away so I thought I'd join in. I don't really remember why I was so angry, but I remember feeling like what was the point? Losing at home to CHESTER. Christ. I even shouted Adams out as I walked past the dugout! To be fair, I was 12. I haven't left a game early since then, and I got a bit of a telling off from my dad when I mentioned I'd stormed off.

Junior Agogo scored the goal as I recall, and Chester then went on to get relegated (7-1 to the Albion in the reverse fixture!).

Two I remember are the Jimmy Case era 1995-96, we played Fulham away in the cup. My wife was living and working in Cambridge and I was living and working in Brighton, so we would meet in London. I seem to remember we were 4-0 down at half time and we went for a Thai meal on the Kings Road.

The other was Peter Shilton's game for Leyton Orient against us when he broke the playing record. I had to go to a wedding so was all dressed up and had to leave and run with about 30 minutes to go, think we may have been 2-0 down.

These days I work away a lot, so if I travel down from Essex or London tend to leave when board go up so I get back around midnight.

On the reverse, when I was young, if I had no money I would wait for half time and the gates to the North, East stands were often opened at the Goldstone and just walk in. I am sure people would often be walking out, I assumed they had been working.

About 20 minutes into a home defeat to Stoke City at Withdean because I couldn't stop throwing up and had a terrible case of the runs caused I suspect by a suspect KitKat Chunky. Didn't miss much.

Went down for a beer on about 35mins at Upton Park last season and didn't come back out. The fact they had the game on the concourse tv's meant that if I was going to see us get a thumping then I was at least going to do it pissed!

I've only ever left once before the final whistle; it was in the 94th minute away at Blackburn last month. We didn't look like having any chance of an equaliser so I thought I'd get away and jog back to the car to avoid the traffic on what was a very cold, snowy night.

When the 4th went in at West Ham last season. Poor tactics and even poorer performance that day. At 4-0 we'd had enough and went home.

West Ham away after the 4th (mates had left after 20 minutes)
Left early at Palace this season

The only time I've left early that wasn't because we were getting hammered was a home game at Withdean on a Tuesday night. My mates were in the pub for a birthday and the game was shit (we were winning though), I just upped and left after 70 minutes as I was freezing and bored. Funny thing was I went to the bus stop and none came until past the final whistle and I got on the same bus as a load of people who stayed the ninety.
