The Dominant Norwich Team of last season

Surely when the game was played is irrelevant, they still had 12 games left too. The point is that everyone had generally played the same number of games.

It does when you're considering the perception of dominance. We're currently 8 points clear with two games in hand, had we of played a couple of our postponed games when they were scheduled, provided we won them, we would be 14 points clear. To a lot of people 14 points would seem to be a lot more dominant than only 8, albeit with two games in hand.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. All of the teams had played roughly the same number of games, with Norwich having played the most. So yes, we have an edge I think. But, they had played their 34th game in February which means that they had more time to play their last 12 games - they had two fewer Tuesday games than we will have. So more time to recover from knocks - perhaps that made it a bit easier for them in their run in.

Norwich's form didn't really drop at all at the end. They finished with:

P46 W29 D8 L9 Pt95 GD+42

So won 7, drew 2 and lost 3 (23 points - a touch under Gus's 2 per game) in their final 12 games.

Norwich finished with 95.

Their last 12 games were :-

March
Sat 6 15:00 H Yeovil Town FL1 W 3-0 24,868
Sat 13 15:00 A Huddersfield FL1 W 3-1 17,959
Sat 20 15:00 A Swindon Town FL1 D 1-1 11,972

Why not take this a step further

Leicester were dominant the season before too, many would say even better than Norwich so heres how we compare with both of them.

Code:
               Pld W D L F A PTS
Leicester City 34 21 11 2 64 28 74
Norwich City 34 22 6 6 70 36 72
Brighton & H.A. 34 21 8 5 64 26 71

Not to shabby in my opinion!

Just had another look at the fixtures and it really isn't beyond the realms of possibility for us to win every game this month and effectively put promotion to bed

When i think back and marvelled at those teams who have just been far superior to the rest....and now that table shows us as better than them all. fantastic!
