Birmingham have updated and said a decision is hoped to be made before the Albion supporters coaches depart. Nice of them.

Just walked Mrs Grombleton to work as not many could get in. Littlehampton has a few inches but people are taking care...a few pricks in Wick throwing snowballs across the road in front of cars, but hopefully Darwinism will take care of them.

I decided to take the afternoon off just incase I got stranded at work and the coast road didn't seem to be that snowy on the way back to Peacehaven.

Question, how long is this likely to last (Worthing) and what is Uckfield like for the next 36 hours?

Want to make an early decision on work tomorrow.

I can't tell you for definite, but we do seem to be moving into a less intense section (according to the radar) but it's still hammering down here.

Not as heavy in Eastbourne now. Hopefully it will pep up later. No where near as much as they forecast yet.

A29 Bury Hill is closed, which isn't surprising but might scupper people's travel plans. I've not got to tackle it until Sunday, so should be better by then (hopefully).

One thing to keep an eye, on is the movement of the snow band.

As the annotated picture below is trying to show, the band will pivot with the eastern end moving a little further North East, whilst the Western end will start to move South.

There will also be a general movement Southwards.

The upshot is, that although at some point the intensity will drop off, we will see the whole system move back over us as it moves South.
