New York City has just had the worst blizzard in years. They reckon about 18 to 24 inches was dumped in just over 6 hours. Cars were dumped all over the place blocking the cross streets and causing gridlock. JFK, Newark and LaGardia are still shut. It will be interesting to see how the clean up compares with the UK - so far it's looking good with plenty of plows out.
