Id have taken this session in the context of this match. A lead of 250 plus would be great.

The outfield seems slow as the balls arent reaching the boundary or is it the Aussies field placings are better than they have been.. If these 2 can each get 50+ we should be looking good.

It's partly because it's a massive pitch and there are some very long boundaries. Pietersen just ran a four, which shows how far out the ropes are in places.

These odds are interesting, clearly the two in bat now have to be favourites for top scorers this innings but the others do look tempting especially if we have a wobble in middle order. Must say Bell at 20/1 is good

Top England score this innings
Batsman
5/6 Alastair Cook
6/4 Andrew Strauss
12/1 Kevin Pietersen
12/1 Jonathan Trott
20/1 Ian Bell
25/1 Paul Collingwood
33/1 Matt Prior

I imagine a few punters would have taken some of the value at the start of the day.

Ponting is a total disgrace to the game of cricket. There was never an edge from Kevin there. Fair enough, captain convict is within his rights to refer it, but how can he stand there wagging his finger and shaking his fist at the umpire when the technology has just proved he is wrong. They're shit, they're desperate, and they're getting outplayed, but that doesn't excuse that sort of behaviour. Once again, Ponting brings the game into disrepute.

totally agree. And am not suprised fans showing their disgust at Ponting. and warne can shut up too

Wasn't the smartest shot was it. Sign of desperation about it I reckon.

Knew he’s go and do something stupid. Wouldn’t of minded if he actually contributed to the score and I don’t mean 8, he really has hit a bad patch and think he should step aside and let someone else have a crack.
