If it was a player signing, it would be on the club site/argus, so it rules that out.
If i remember rightly, the last time the Argus 'exclusively revealed' that they would have something amazing in next days paper, it turned out to be total non story.

Gus has been cheating on his wife with Calderons wife as revenge for Calderon not signing a contract with us at the end of last season. Gus had an injunction put in place but it was lifted by the courts late this afternoon hence why the Argus can only put it in the paper tomorrow.
