I have the god bothering Blairite David Lammy as my MP - I am afraid I have no intention of voting for the little creep.

Fair enough - I'm obviously talking about marginals. If the Tories won that seat you're in, I'd be worried about the Reichstag going up in flames.

And you have that on authority LI ? what is labour doing then ?
Dont get me wrong i am not Tory boy but labour is utter shite !

Ah come on fella, let's not kid ourselves. As a good Tory, you're not going to tell me your lot are going to raise public expenditure on education and the health service?

Nah, you're going to cut whatever you can get away with politically and you're gonna increase the rate of privatisation a thousand fold in the public services. It'll be back to the days when the police get 30 per cent pay rises and the teachers and nurses f*** all.

If they get FA under Labour, then logic dictates they'll get a pay cut under the Tories. You KNOW that's how it works

I'm not voting Labour for the reasons stated above but anyone who thinks "Dave" Cameron is anything other than an opportunist smooth talker with a hard right agenda is kidding themselves.

Do you really not think that parties change? Labour did.

I am sure they would do exactly the same as before :thud:

Why the chip, LI?

A newly qualified nurse currently earns approximately 50% more money now than in 1997.

They will need it, to pay rent and pay off the student loan.

The NHS pays all fees for most nursing courses, and gives bursaries to cover living costs for trainee nurses.

You see BoF, if you were to tell me that the Tories are promising to abolish student loans, I'd agree with you that they have changed.

The likelihood, however, is that they will take this awful Labour legislation and worsen it by charging students even more.

Less of the rubbish about "chips", you have to convince me with detailed evidence of what the Tories will do that has really changed them from a party that ALWAYS runs down public expenditure on vital services.

How much more have nurses earned in real terms? not 50%

The tories raised spending year after year but costs just rose faster, and still are.

That is the problem LI wont address.

Voting the independant candidate standing in my ward. believe that party politics should not be involved at local council level. Sadly looks like BNP may get votes in Crawley with 4 candidates standing. Been in the news big along with fights between BNP supporters and Anti-Facists.:nono:
