After today's shocking performance this is the team I'd select for Saturday:

Kuipers

Reid
Whing
Butters
Lynch

Hart (bring him back from loan)
Hammond
Loft
Rents

Revell
Forster

Subs:
Sullivan
ElAbd
O'Callaghan or Fraser
Robinson

The team needs a shake up after that display.

That looks better, could work.

No. He's playing so badly he needs to be dropped from the squad for a while.

And I moved Whing to central defence where I've seen him play, and play well, so that we have a new central defensive partnership.

Lynch deserves to be dropped after today's performance, but I'd give him a go at LB and move Rents up to left midfield in place of Cox.

Loft deserves a chance in central midfield. He cannot possibly be worse than what we had out there today.

And Gary Hart will put some passion into the team performance.

But would you want to play someone who has NOTHING to play for? As much as I like Bas I hope he does not play.

totally agree

I am a bit confused as to why Hart is suddenly the supposed saviour. It is the defence that needs sorting out really. Re-sign Richards is a must and get Elphick fit and we should be able to shore things up. Lynch always takes a while to settle down when he is coming abck from injury.

agreed - we have looked poor since elphick was out of the team - once he is back i reckon we will look a lot more secure at the back, which will give us a soild base with which we can build on

I know our defence was shaky today but our midfield were completely non existent.

Even if he is out of contract, we will still hold his registration so we could use him as a non contract player, but I wouldnt. The one major change that is needed is Butters in to win some headers and I would move either E4L Abd or Lynch to full back , probably Lynch and drop Rents.

How near is Elphick to coming back.

I would also play Reid on the right of midfield with Cox on the left.

My team would be

Kuipers ( no option)

Whing
El Abd
Butters
Lynch

Reid
Hammond,
Fraser,
O'Callaghan
Cox

Forster

4 - 5- 1
