To be fair every manager has made signings that dont work out, Taylor did sign Benjamin and Akinbiyi for big money but every club that has bought Ade has paid big dough for him (including the £2.4m we paid Leicester!) but he has a decent track record and i am looking forward to see who he spends our cash on!

I think Dowie was close to signing Zamora in the Premiership season, but events conspired to that falling through. I wouldn't mind Zamora at all but i can't see Wet Sham letting him go to be honest and he signed a fresh 4 year contract last season i believe
