Yes please, might as well take a look. It's tricky to know what's best for them, my 4 year old is on my iPad 2 all the time, watching youtube (he's going to be swearing soon) and playing games. It'll be great if they can watch a film on the long trip to their grandparents too, and I think 7" screens will be fine.

There won't ever be a time (age) when they don't want one, so they'll use them until the break/become obsolete, so either buy cheap and replace in a couple of years, or buy a bit better and hope it lasts a little longer, I'm not sure which is the best route.

Have sent you a PM.

samsung tab 2 7inch. with cashback a very good deal at the mo.
Agreed.
not sure if thats too expensive though?
Perhaps. You can get ok tablets at £70, which should be enough for kids, but I like the extra functionality of the £100 tablets (2 cameras, IPS screen, dual core processors, better ram, etc). The Samsung is about the same spec, but with brand confidence. Kids will probably break them anyway.

Thank you for that. I had looked at some tablets with the All Winner A10 chip, but then these dual core processors started coming at a similar price. Good that they provided decent customer service for you. I could be tempted to get them at £60, as they won't be looked after that well, and once destroyed they might be ready for something a little better. Saying that, they haven't damaged my iPad.
