Err how about not.

Family stand has a fair amount of concessions when it comes to price, hence you should suffer when it comes to view...

I was kind of joking, as it happens, but I may bite now...

I pay the same price for the FS as you pay for the South. £23 quid or whatever it is. The kids get in cheap [as they should]. Why should they have a shit view?

In fact, if the Jacks want them, let them have the FS, AND the East AND the Away end. Just move the FS to the almost empty block A of the South.

I'm all for taking as much cash as possible from them.

The best solution is to allocate FS ticket holders the empty seats dotted throughout the South Stand. Swansea could then have an extra 750 tickets at their disposal which should keep them happy. When we were first relegated from the Championship our last away game was at Grimsby who were already down. The allocation was only 2300 and Blundell Park were willing to give us 5000 tickets (there were over 7000 applications) but because the game was over a Bank Holiday weekend Humberside Police told them to stick to the original allocation. Grimsby Town could have taken an extra £30-40k in gate receipts except that the police didn't want to fork out for any extra overtime.

Hmmm, give them their bloody allocation and be done with it.

Read their message boards, some of them predict they'll bring 5,000 :lolol:

Now I know we took a fair whack to Port Vale after winning the title, but they all went up knowing they'd get in, with a decent view, and at a reasonable price. Swansea, on the other hand, know they're fighting over 900 odd tickets, costing an extortionate price, for a crappy view.

Granted, some will travel with the hope of blagging seats in the home areas, and if not enjoying the bank holiday weekend in Brighton, but 5,000?

I would be mightily impressed if they did that...

Then making sure that every pub in town has rabid home fans being held back by the OB and random groups of lads strung out across town waiting lob bricks and bottles at any away fans silly enough to leave the throng being escorted to a dead end station.

That was mental. I was with a mate and we were staying in Scouseland for the weekend and had to walk back to Long something station. The Old Bill stopped us by a statue, I think, in the middle of the town waiting for back up due to their lads waiting outside every pub en-route and then we've got another mob coming up behind us with the old bill shitting themselves!!!!! Cue, break escort and take our chances. father an son walking in front of us got chinned and then we had the fortune to have someone we know drive past and give us a lift, result

We could always have the pre-match announcements read out in Welsh, just to make them feel really welcome, that would confuse the hell out of them...Bore da, croeso pobol Y Abertawe...

They might wonder what time of day it is...
