It's 15% of any profit Wolves get, they paid £7mil for him. If they recieve £10mil for him, £450k goes to Burnley

Ahhh what happens when I read it faster than my brain can process!

Still....10 mil for a striker who ain't that amazing.....still 10 mil for him is a bargain compared to Carroll

That's pathetic. What did think Fletcher would be sold for?! He was never worth the £7million Wolves wasted on him, but for Sunderland to think £10million is reasonbale... Jesus wept.

Decent striker, better than the Championship by a mile IMO, £5m would be a fair price, Wolves are just being greedy.

£10m is an obscene amount of money, but it is also a normal fee for a decent Premier League striker.

Give him a header in front of goal, and he'll put it away. Wolves aren't in a financial position where they need to sell, therefore I think Sunderland will have to pay over the odds to get him.

???

So you're saying asking £15million for a player who's average at best in the Premier league isn't being greedy?

Of course not you fool. Try selling some magic beans on the street, then you'll learn what negotiations are all about.

Okay, So if QPR got relegated, and they wanted £15million for DJ Campbell, that wouldn't be taking the piss at all?

Hello no! What are you talking about man? In fact, £15million is a reasonable price. He scored a goal in the Premier League, ergo, he's a Premier League striker. Fletcher is probably even worth more than £10million. Perhaps double it and you're not even close. Afterall, he is Scottish, and his goals fired Wolves to relegation last season and were unlucky not to do so the season before. His record with Burnley was brilliant too, so all in all, he is clearly a Premier League standard striker who should be costing north of £10million. Anyone who doesn't agree has never tried to sell anything before.

:dunce: (Just in case it wasn't clear enough already)

With the new £3bn. SKY TV deal kicking in come season 2013/14, Championship chairmen, including no doubt TB, are going to pull out all the stops to get their team to the Promised Land of the Premiership, regardless of cost, as the rewards will be immense. It will, of course, skint a few who don't make it

A new CM and ST might arrive in short order I would think

You do realise, when you want to SELL something, you want to make us MUCH as possible right?

Or should Newcastle have said to Liverpool "look, we'll sell Andy for £15m as,clearly, £35m is a bit silly and we don't want to make you spend more than you have to" ???
