I'd want the squad to be:

Goalkeepers: Kuipers, Sullivan

Defenders: Whing, Lynch, Elphick, Virgo, McNulty, Hinshelwood.

Midfielders: Loft, Fraser, Dicker, Cox, Mcleod. Then 2 to 3 quality signings.

Strikers: Owusu/Hart, Murray, Forster, Davies

In rehab
Jason Puncheon is quailty.Ifill is a huge risk.Would like to see a young striker with energy and pace around 21 years of age.At least 3 new midfileders along with Dicker.

Left-back is a must as McNulty is out and agree with the need to boost midfield. But above all else we need to sign a leader, either an experienced centre back or in midfield. The team have lacked that arguably since the days of Cullip and Oatway so that must be a priority.

And why would MK Dons allow LEFT winger Jason Puncheon, one of their best players, to leave the club?

Paul Ifill is more realistic I think.

Jason Puncheon scored againstus at MK whilst on loan at MK Dons from Plymouth, so it has nothing to do with MK Dons, by coming in from the RIGHT WING where he was playing at the time to head the ball into the net. The goal he scored at Withdean was from the left wing when he went past our defenders as if they werent there.

When playing for Barnet before being transferred he played as Cox does sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right.

a) He's not going to choose us over MK Dons

b) He's left footed

(a) There is no garauntee that MK Dons will try to sign him either permanant or on loan. They may have another Cheslea youngster in their sights if they get promotion and Plymouth may not loan him to a team in the same division.

(b) so was Chris Waddle and he only ever played on the right as was Paul Watson as a full back for us except for very odd occassions in an emergency.

After what has been said on by many, myself included, it will be interesting to see what changes RS makes to the backroom staff, if indeed he wishes to and is allowed to. It may well be that he will not see the need and will stick with what he has.

I'd want the squad to be:

That is a good squad if (and only if) we pull out of the reserve league. If we are going to commit ourself to x amount of reserve fixtures, we will need a few more players. Some clubs have got around the problem by withdrawing from reserve leagues and just organising reserve team fixtures when needed (i.e. international breaks, or when players need match fitness before they are ready for first team matches).

Again, can we not bring players through decently from non league etc? Darren Ferguson took George Boyd who two years ago was a confectioner! Now he is in the Scottish B team and rated at 1million! Why can other teams at this level bring through class like that for nothing, yet our scouting system is awful. Dixon for example -.-.

Agree TCB, if he can teach them to interchange throughout the game it would be awesome!
