Most of the pubs in the lanes to be honest, the Sussex, pump house, druids, market inn, all good, have character and decent atmospheres.

My go to place for first dates is the wagon and horses, no too pretentious or chavvy, usually quite quiet, decent outdoors area if it's nice and really central if you fancy something to eat or something a bit livelier.
