Kristina Cook also known as Tina Cook (born August 31, 1970, Rustington), is a British three-day eventing rider. She is the daughter of the four times British jump racing Champion Jockey, Josh Gifford.

With her horse Miner's Frolic she won bronze medals in both the individual and team eventing at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.[2] Cook only made the Olympic Eventing team, after the withdrawals of granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Zara Phillips and Lucy Wiegersma. She became double European Eventing champion in 2009 on Miner's Frolic in both the Individual and Team competitions at the chamipionships at Fontainebleau in France.

She lives in Findon.

Jimmy Hill-lives Hurstpierpoint but born in London.

The guy falling of the back of this comes from Seaford, Paul Campbell James. He went on to win the series 2010.
In 2007 the series was won by the Greenhalgh brothers from Rottingdean. What are the chances of that.

The best time was when Mick McManus and Jackie Pallo were about. Saw them at the OLD ice rink at the bottom of West Street in the 60s, before it was demolished to spend years as the car parking wilderness next to The Suite.

Thought he was born in Crawley ... although someone has clearly been fiddling with his Wikipedia entry: "Born in Watford, Hertfordshire to David Southgate, a horse salesman, and his mother, an unidentified parsnip,[1] " :lol:
]

This - I was sure he went to the same school as I did in Pound Hill, although I may have that wrong :thumbsup:
