Didn't we once sign a reserve striker from one of the Bristol clubs for 1/4 million who turned out to be a bit useful?

Seek and you shall find brothers

i thought it might be davies as he has played for slade
Can see your thinking.
Has played for Slade (poet)
Has scored around 8 goals per season from midfield but cant get in the NF side.
Not a striker though but worth watching this space for.
Tyson though, would be an awsome signing.

I wonder if our search for a striker goes further than the shores of Britain?

Football is the world game, got to be someone worth having a look at from O/S.

How about Tristan Plummer from Bristol C?

(always does the business for me as Brighton on FM... *cough*)

Liam Dickinson on a season's loan from Derby would be good, he also has something else going for him as he is also another ex- Stockport player !!

Craig Davies will come good. Of that I am sure !!

I wish I shared your confidence....if you can see him replacing Murray or Forster i.e 15-20 goals over a season, then you are a better man than me!
All I saw last season was workrate....no class, no touch, no finesse.
His finishing reminded me of Jake..alright till the goal loomed large and then " rabbit caught in the headlights "
( Sincerely hope Im wrong as we may be starting the season with him )

Don't know where you get that from, I personally saw a player with a very good first touch, gets himself into some great goalscoring positions, has lightning pace just lacking that bit of confidence in the finishing department hardly surprising after he was booed after his first miss by a certain section of fans.

A Good pre-season under his belt is exactly what he needs, he could be a 20+ goal a season man and at 23 we have a great prospect.
