Strangest spelling of a name you have ever seen

I have some distant Australian relatives who have three children called:-

Kayleigh-Bree
Maddisyn-Leigh
Chelcee-Annaleigh

The double-barrelled first names go with their double-barrelled surname, Apps-Gale.

I win.

Not strange spellings but odd names I've come across in life, Royston Nutbeam, Barry Gribble, Mervyn McGlumpher and Duncan Brasted (hic)

My pet peeve is women's names that used to be surnames, or that used to be men's given names, or derived from them.

I have had in class girls named Madison (Wisconisn? US founder James Madsion?), Taylor (the girls named Taylor now far outnumber the boys), Mackenzie (big hit in Canada -- NOT!), Riley, and Kendall.

I had a printout that had the boys in one column, the girls in the other, and the girls's column sounded like a law firm:

Keely, Addison, Riley, Kendall and Morgan, Attorneys at Law.

In a sane world, a baby name book would be harder to buy than a handgun.
