Stewards insisting that we sit down in the North Stand

We should pick a game and sit in silence in protest, the Germans do it in the bundes league and it works they get there way, the atmosphere at the Amex will be shit if we all have to sit in the north.If we have to resort to this we must remain completely silent throughout the chosen game

Where abouts in the North? I stand in the 4th row from the back, and we didn't get hassled (and never do). Nor from what I saw did the 4 or 5 rows in front of us.

In N1A the only problem was with a steward we think told a 10-12 year old off for standing on his seat, his father got a bit animated which caused a bit of an argument. Other fans calmed Dad down and all was fine after that, in fact later on a steward told another young boy off for standing in the aisle and said to go back and stand on his seat

None of us got told to sit down once today, everybody stood from Row Q backwards

4 rows at the back of any stand are not going to create an atmosphere if jobsworths make the rest of the stand sit down are they,i will give up if you like and sit down then the row behind will have to sit aswell

What's with the f***ing attitude?? Where did i give the impression i wanted you to 'give up'? I simply asked you where abouts because I saw no problems from 10 or so rows from the back.

The more people that stand has a reflection on our away allocation,the FA monitor all standing and can reduce allocation to games based on it,Man u suffer from this problem every game and are slowly addressing the situation.

If you want to sit down, you have three other stands - don't go in the north then.

But... I'm normally a north stander but was in the East towards the away fans yesterday as I was taking the little miss. I was disappointed at how quiet the North (and West) was from there. In fact the atmosphere seemed flat everywhere yesterday. Maybe these acoustics aren't as good as we think...

When purchasing your north stand season ticket in 2010/2011 season when it was known that the last four rows that the rules would be relaxed and standing allowed

Did any one really think when purchasing a north stand ticket any where else your would be allowed to stand ?.

Easy solution. Take Stanley blades to the game. Note the numbers and faces of the stewards causing the problem. Wait until after the game and they are going their cars/bus stop/station. Follow them there. Stripe them on the face.

Won't happen again I promise.

Perfect solution - also works with people standing in the aisles slowly walking to the exits....
