Not a bad day for Sussex. With such an inexperienced batting line up they have done very well and now let's see what the bowlers can do...great to have the cricket back. Weekend of fabulous sport. Masters golf, Grand National and County Championship cricket.

Big thumbs up

Enjoyed that. Even had a pork pie, some picked onions and some cheese and crackers to get in the mood.

Marvellous scenes.

298/9 after 1st over. Need 2 runs for the 3rd batting point.

301 all out

That's a good recovery from 40-4

EDIT: Just seen the Glamorgan score - they recovered from 132-7 to 330 ao. That's some wagging tail

Another sign of summer. Darren Stevens has scored a century - the wonder is that it's not against us

It's amazing to think that he was playing cricket at the same time as Graham Gooch

Lancs piling on the runs here - could be just 100 behind at tea. Vilas looks in decent nick

Lancs 212 for 4

Really could do with a wicket or 2 in this session to stay in the game, before the inevitable early season bad light stops play.

The Surrey lad we signed Hunt is bowling tidy like.

Great coverage from Lanky via youtube on the tellybox.
