Yet Jordan didn't see fit to sell one or two of them to balance the books and rescue from admin?

We had three of those players when we went into admin. Williams was 14, Zaha was 15 (had still made his debut that year though) and the likes of Jedinak only signed last summer.

Also, Jordan wasn't warned of what was going to happen. One day they pulled the plug completely out of the blue.

We have turned down an official bid of £5m from Bolton for Zaha. Williams looks far more complete at 17 than Zaha did at his age. Great eye for a pass, runs like Zaha but without as many tricks, dribbles using pace and a change of direction. Cracking shot for a kid and plays perfect through balls. Manages to win a lot of penalties too. Looks our best prospect yet.

Speroni is only 32. We turned down £1m from Fulham last year.
Ambrose's value has only increased after his Old Trafford goal. He is worth £1.5m for his set pieces alone.

Surely the value of these players is not what we can get for them but what they bring to the club? Unless we have something better coming in that improves our options valuations really mean jack - just my take.

Gardner £750k - Not a chance.
Parr £1m - Not a chance.

Jedinak £1m - Not a chance.
Ambrose £1.5m - QPR were interested for 750k last year, bid accepted. He's since got worse.
Scannell £2m - Not a f***ing chance, Barnes is worth double that then, far better record.

How can England capped Gardner not be worth 750k? Remember - you're looking at the second best defence in the league.

McCarthy has played at Championship level all his career and has done well (at his best with us). He is only 29, 3 years younger than Greer, who's career has been in the lower leagues.

Clyne is actually going for £3m as the best full-back in the league with a few months on his contract. Had he signed a new one he'd be going for twice that. This has no bearing on Dunk - who isn't the best CB.

Parr is easily worth £1m. He is a fantastic signing on a free, and we beat Swansea and QPR to sign him.

Williams is a lot better than Forster-Caskey. I have never seen a better young player. To suggest that they are equal is ludicrous, he seems alright, but Williams is exceptional.

Jedinak is the best defensive midfielder in the league. MoM every game for a couple of months now. Best performance of any player on the pitch on Tuesday - didn't put a foot wrong and won everything.

The 750k bid was two years ago, and was accepted because we were in admin. He would now easily go for double that, after his goal at Old Trafford (which was incredible) put him back in the shop window.

Scannell is a winger. Barnes is a striker, most of his goals coming in league one. To compare the two is ridiculous. Shaun is the worst of the three (Zaha, him and Williams) but he has a very bright future and looks a great prospect.

It's all a bit of fun and is interesting to see others opinions,age and contract length come into it,also i have not factored into mine the "value" to the squad for example,being young and promising is no guarantee for a future higher residual price or value as some players show early promise,yet fade for a multiple of reasons,yet others are late developers and so on-i think i created this thread,due to wild fluctuations among our support as to Craig Noone's value,ahead of a possible transfer to Cardiff.

I for one feel we should where possible hold our better players,and we must remember we are a Championship level club now and should not let players go on the cheap like Elliott last season.

I honestly don`t know, but your valuations do seem low in the current market, bearing in mind we would have to replace anyone sold as we have a relatively small squad
