Southampton away - train times

been looking at the times and the train departs southampton central after the game at 22:13

given that its half hour walk from the ground to the station, it leaves no room for hold ups etc.
if you miss that, it looks like you pretty much shafted!

anyone know any different?

There's always the possibility of getting a train up to Clapham Junction and then back to Brighton from there. Although your ticket won't be valid on that route if you come along the coast before the match.

i think that's it. miss that and it's a nice 7 hour overnight journey home.

bit of a pain... if only that last train left 15 mins later it would be a crackin midweek awayer

Apparently the walk is only 15/20 minutes according to some of my Scum supporting mates.

Yes but the 22.30 to Waterloo gives you 3 minutes to get from platform 3 to platform 13 at Clapham. If you miss the 00:11 you won't get back to,Brighton until five to three am. But at least you'll get back.

Train 01:08 Clapham Junction [CLJ] Three Bridges [TBD] 01:50
Bus 01:58 Three Bridges [TBD] Brighton (East Sussex) [BTN] 02:53

There is an earlier train from Clapham but the connection is tight:

00:11 Clapham Junction [CLJ] Brighton (East Sussex) [BTN] 01:17
