Or ask a farmer if you could borrow his shotgun , the most compassionate way to put a Palace fan out of their misery.
Are the NHS only doing one knee at a time , Glas ? As a major insurance company would say "zhit happenz" and there'll be bound to be good news around the corner.

one knee at a time ..............thats if at all..............but will say more likely to get them done quick in Wales

I hope it's good knees tomorrow Glas. and somebody makes an offer then exchanges and then completes. Once back in Gosbts all will be on the up. Better get the knees and Mrs Glas fixed in Wales though because of the lack of parking at the RSC you mostly get stuck with a long walk uphill.

Good luck for tomorrow , hope all goes well for the missus and you receive positive news. Our house move is postponed until next year , not even worth putting the house on the market at the moment because nothing is selling apart from the FTB and BTL properties in the £50k to £60k price range.

Hi Glasfryn...sorry to hear about your troubles and I wish both you and your wife well.
I had knee replacements in both knees 6 years ago and they have given me a new lease of life. The important thing to do is the exercises after the ops.Do them conscientiously and you will benefit.Sadly some people don't and effectively waste the skill of the surgeon.
My wife is currently in Worthing Hospital having had a second op. in a month for wretched Breast cancer.First one was a lumpectomy but it was then discovered she would need a mastectomy and reconstruction, which they have done at the same time.Big op. but hopefully she can come home tomorrow and rest up.
Don't suppose Gus would want to sign either of us to bolster the squad for next season!!
Good luck anyway,I am sure all will be O.K.in the end.
