It's great that Bond movies are once again (not sure if they ever weren't, though) event movies - this one does appear to be a particulary good example (not that I've seen it yet).

Just got back from cinema. This really is a great film. Not just a great Bond (possibly the best actually) but great film. Cements Craig as arguably best Bond. Worlds apart from QoS and as good, nay, better than Casino Royale. Can't say much without spoliers but I urge you to check it out. It's bloody great!

But its recognised that OHMSS is the closest to the novels followed by FRWL.

In fact the first three Moores and Goldeneye are also rather good.
