Gerrard, has single handeadly kept Liverpool going over the years. God knows where they would be without him. Not to mention, Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cups, League Cups....Not to shabby eh???

You`ve got a red shirt in the closet i reckon

Aye aye Capp'n.

And Calde still as Vice Captain. The number of crucial goals Calde scored at the back end of last year should not be overlooked when considering how pivotal he is to the team.

don't see why a new signing should be captain OR vice captain unless that position is vacant

as it goes we have a great captain in greer, and calderon's experience, charisma and bi-lingual...ness makes him a great stand in for the times that greer goes all BRAVEHEART and twats someone in the face for no reason

calderon probably won't get a massive amount of game time, so maybe crofts is a decent candidate for 3rd choice captain, but he is among others in that respect (el-abd and bridcutt are two that spring to mind)

Who cares? All they do is toss the coin before ko. As far as talking and inspiring go, there should be 11 captains on the pitch
