Gerrard, has single handeadly kept Liverpool going over the years. God knows where they would be without him. Not to mention, Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cups, League Cups....Not to shabby eh

Greer will be. El-Abd maybe should be.

However, Greer is skipper and Calde is vice-captain. It will stay that way I think. Crofty was a good captain but for the VC role, you can't underestimate Calde's role in the squad. Even if he's not playing he's a good VC.
