Brand new STREET circuit
And for the first time ever, an F1 Grand Prix is taking place in the host country at NIGHT.

I think thats rather exciting.

Watch BBC3 tonight to see how the 2-wheelers fare. Just watched the 125s on bbci and have to say it I think it works. If it were to piss down though...

I know enough to realise that cars driving in a circle for two hours is BORING

so two hours of F1 with NO overtaking IS exciting?....do me a FAVOUR :D

anyway, true oval racing is done on short tracks in the UK with Bangers...now THATS entertainment!

Last seasons F1 was QUALLA (first time in a few years though, I grant you).
Bangers is alright for novelty value occasionally, but its got all the skill factor of an egg & spoon race.

You bastard. The egg & spoon race is the only competition I've ever won. My mum assured me it was a real sport :(

The FIA also want the Australian grand prix to be hosted at night (day time for Europe) so they can get more viewers.

But I for one will be up at 4.30AM on Sat night/Sun morning

Is it not the same circuit the F3000's go wizzing around on.
If so, a newbie might just turn over, the old guard.

Dunno, but if you go to the Singapore GP website (googled it last night, can't be bothered to now), there's a link there that takes you to Google Earth, and that in turn then gives you a "virtual tour" of the route through the streets.

Well worth a sniff.
