Video from 2007.
Do you want this one from last season?
Or this one from a Tuesday Night pissing with rain?
Those are better - why was only one section singing though? The fans to their left, right next to them, just refused to join in.

What this goes to show, is where songs have been copied in the last 14 years, you'd have already copied them before us. So?

Bring on 31st January.

27th September will be no comparison, 5000 Brighton fans, 14000 Man U/Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool fans and 2500 Palace.
You wish.

Enjoy sitting down in your steep stand.
:lolol: I sat in the West Upper last week, it was fantastic. Not that steep at all, but steep enough to give a clear view of the whole pitch, it couldn't have been better. If you get yourselves a new ground, that's what you'll be hoping for.

I went to Belgium in 2004. The Anderlecht fans were singing this then.
I’m not saying don’t do it just this is where I heard it first.

Dagenham & Redbridge sing it as well. Liverpool sung it about Mascherano years ago.

It's a bit dull in my view, would go well with Alllllbiiiiiyyyaaaaawwwwn and probably send half the ground to sleep.

Was it not one of the Milan clubs that sung it originally?

Are you thick?

All football songs originate from Selhurst-apparently The Dave Clark Five heard Glad All Over there and decided to record it and release it as a single.

I don't think it is fair for some of us Palace fans to criticise you for not having an original chant as very very few chants are actually original. I think the reason we find this amusing is because a lot of your fans on both here and the Palace message boards have made digs at our 'Ultras' and 'AWM' fan groups citing them as spotty teenagers and pikeys who didn't exactly generate an intimidating atmosphere, yet have thought it a good idea to plagiarise the songs that have (partially) come to define them now that you have your new stadium (half full of plastics) in a bid generate some 'atmosphere'. It seems (yet again) you are daring your inspiration from your bigger rival up the road :lolol:

Whilst the roots of many of these songs (7 Nation Army tune) and 'We Love You' song can be traced back to original sources overseas, it is a widely held view that we were one of the first (if not the first) to work it into our own words and style - which a fair few fan groups have said they started singing having heard them at Palace.

Given that you guys have not been playing at our level for a good few years now, I see why you think that the Palace atmosphere is 'not all that' but in the time since you last were at Selhurst (many of you) the Ultras really have cranked up the atmosphere at Palace and swathes of fans from other clubs on their own forums and ours have praised us for an excellent vocal and visual display at Selhurst (and at their grounds).

It will be eye-opening for many of you on both 27th Sept and 31st Jan, but here is a little taster for you all:

I think you might find that the Amex isn't quite the soul-less library full of Arsenal / Chelsea / Spurs fans when you come to us as well.

what about?

We're only making plans for Nigel
We only want what's best for him
We're only making plans for Nigel
Nigel just needs this helping hand
And if young Nigel says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
We're only making plans for Nigel
He has his future in a British steel
We're only making plans for Nigel
Nigel's whole future is as good as sealed
And if young Nigel says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
Nigel is not outspoken
But he likes to speak
And loves to be spoken to
Nigel is happy in his work
We're only making plans for Nigel

im thinking along the lines of

our gus is making plans for nigels
the nigels love there caravans
our gus is making plans for nigels
we will slap the nigels til they cant stand
