Surely there are only so many jobs we can give to ex-players, and surely if there is a better external candidate for the same role they should get the job instead.

Dont think much reality being applied on here. Unfortunately we have purchased some utter dogs and think If we get anywhere close to half what we paid for Locadia, AJ, and Andone we'll have robbed the bank. They are all on prem wages which is going to put off most European clubs, and all have shown they cant compete at a really decent level or have the mental discipline either.

Could see Duffy going to a Norwich or top champ side for £10-15m at end of season to clear the path for White.

I'll believe it when I see it. Leeds are perennial bottlers, Bielsa runs them into the ground and they'll be running on empty again come the end of the season. White's good, but he can't do it on his own.

We could potentially have a much improved squad next season without buying a single player. With White, Clarke, Molumby and possibly Tau/Mac Allister coming in to replace Balogun, Duffy, Locadia, Ali J and Andone. Not to mention a fit again Izquierdo.
