Back to the league next weekend. And Gus has some choices to make.

Brez is a cup man, so likely to be replaced by Caspar.

Calde is back but will Gus drop Tanno?

Greer is bound to be back, but did Elf do anything to warrant being dropped?

Gus has said he liked the three man attack - but has hinted that he tried it to see how it would work should we need it in future.

Noone and Bridcutt won't be on the bench will they?

Possible line up?

Casper yes back in.

Afraid Elphick is also only for cups it seems, tho I reckon he had one of his best games in an Albion shirt on Sat. First to every ball, not easily turned, didnt lose his man - all of which he has been guilty of and rightly dropped for. So Greer in.

Calde will come back in. Kish and Tanno were always ever going to be short term cover at RB- getting rid of Whing proved that.

As for the midfield dunno. I can see Noone making way for Dicker...

So

Caspar

Calde
Greer
El Abd
Painter

Bennett
Bridcutt
Sparrow
Noone

Murray
Wood

Subs : Barnes, Kish, Dicker etc

Back five is NAILED on.

Ankergren, Painter, Calde, El Abd, Greer.

The rest is much harder to call. TMLS' team above is probably about right, but the only other definite starters I'd say are Murray and Bennett.

Kish might get ahead of Bridcutt, Noone might not start, Dicker has started every (?) league game, Barnes might edge Wood...

Personally I'd like to see a 3 man attack again but concede it's unlikely.

Quite possibly. And with 15mins to go and nil nil we may very well.

If anything he may do it against Watford?

Definitely need to do it against Watford - getting at them quickly is the only way I can see us beating them.

ALL didn't start on Saturday. We have superb strength in depth for most positions now.

Everywhere bar left back is covered (Kish, I guess). And nobody else can REALLY do Murray's job.

Nice headache

Definitely.

My team would be:

Casper

Calde
Greer
El-abd
Painter

Bridcutt
Dicker/Noone - I would bring Noone on after 45/60mins depending on how things are going, but think Gus may start Noone ahead of Dicker.
Sparrow
Bennett

Murray
Wood/Barnes - I would start Barnes, but think Gus will go for Wood.

I think changes will be made and i think calde will be back , but on the back of the performance saturday I dont think anybody can be ruled out its a situation that as a fan i would have thought i would never see which is strength in depth and cover and mid season as well it augurs well for the future.

Because it's Peterboro and their defence is suspect:

Ankergren
Calderon Greer el Abd Painter
Bennett Kishishev Sparrow
Murray Wood Barnes

(but I suspect it's more likely that Barnes will start on the bench and Noone will be out wide with Bennett behind the front two)

Noone will play for sure.

Think Noone will start, giving Gus the option to sub him late on so the south stand can give him big round of applause like he did with kaz. The thought of Bennett and Noone on the pitch against the worst defence in the league is mouthwatering......

Did Greer do anything to warrant being dropped for the Pompy game?

I wouldnt say dropped (as in playing poorly) I would say rested for the (arguably more important) league games.
