Which begs the question:-

How many rainy Saturdays have we had @ The Amex?

I can think of 1.
Plus 2 evening games, one of which only rained while queuing for the bus.

But nothing like the projection for this weekend, biblical rain and 20mph winds.

As someone who works on match-days and activities are weather reliant i know this answer

Whilst we had a few old drizzles last season prior to kick off we had no rainy days. The only persistent heavy rain we had so far before kick off at the Amex was Ipswich this season, got fecking soaked.

Only after kick off did it start raining.

West ham I remember being very wet. Otherwise we have been pretty lucky. In the 3rd row of the WSL the roof doesn't quite stretch over!!!!!!!!!

Yep got soaked on the way to the very first game at the Amex. The SSC final.
It was like we were being reminded of Withdean.
Thankfully being at the back of the North Stand, I've never actually got wet during the game.

I'm 13 rows back in the ESL and if the wind blows in a certain direction, you still get a bit wet.

First rain of 2012, unless you count the 3 minute light shower in February

Right at the back of WSU until final whistle blows - dry as rug in a bug
