I'm really surprised that any supermarket with more than 4 letters in it's name does well in Croydon. Even tesco is seen as exotic.

Dont think they will put a lidl's on the site it would be embarrising having double more people shopping than in the ground

To be fair, it's a good thing Sainsbo's is there, the toilet facilities are better than in the ground and you get a loo roll in the WC, plus a 4 pack of Carling for a fraction of the price in the ground,if you fancy a beer beforehand that is.......
