Don't admire him in the slightest. Diving, cheating, winking fuckwit who, as I've said before on here, gloried in the dismissal of a team mate at the World Cup. He can go f*** himself - I don't care if he's the best bloody player since Pele. He ain't in my fantasy team either, Dave, 'coz I won't pick red Mancs.

Means my fantasy teams are shit, mind you...

I've never seen a free kick quite like that. No swerve whatsoever - it was just struck with utter precision an inch inside the post, straight as an arrow, and with a dipping trajectory that seemed to defy the laws of physics. Quite how he strikes a stationary ball from the turf with that amount of power, for it to rise over the wall and then dip so quickly under the bar over a relatively short distance, is just astonishing.

His self-satisfied celebrations are nauseating. But f*** me, what a player.

He is class and I think in terms of him as Maradonna - a f***ing cheating bastard but both absolute quality footballers

However good he is as a player, I hate Cristiano Ronaldo.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance, George Best had it, Pele had it, Mark Farringdon had it, Cruyff had it, but Ronaldo is just too smug, self satisfied and sneaky to like. He has pace, is two footed, good in the air, scores goals from all distances..........BUT I still turn down complimentary tickets every season to watch the twat, whereas I have just said YES to a freebie for Stockport v Rochdale in a few weeks.
