RIP Eddie the Seagull...

He passed away last Sunday, he had cancer and had only been diagnosed with it for a few weeks. He was only 40.

That is absolutely shocking.

I remember the Eddie the Seagull on here, we've lost one of our own, a looong time before he should have been due. Very sad.

R.I.P. matey.

My only memory of Eddie the Seagull was asking about why his cat had started eating grass at the age of thirteen.

I like the idea of a memorial garden of those that will not see the first game at Falmer, but wholly deserving. Those that put up with all the shit and stuck by such a tinpot side when there were much better teams on the market.

Oh dear. What sad news. I can only hope your family can get through the pain of today to remember the good things about having him in your lives albeit too short a time.
