What i'd like to see is the League1 table this time last year and see how many of the bottom 10 clubs stayed there & which ones were in a relegation battle at the end of the season....then compare it to todays table.
Oh dear.

now how many of them stayed there until the end? I might suggest that most of them did but thats from memory...if they did then we are in a relegation battle from now on regardless of what players/manager we have.
The crappy old saying "too good to go down" means nothing...if you go down you were NOT good enough to stay up...simple FACT.

Why? Because you say so? ???

Personally I think we'd be having another season hovering around 6th or 7th place, with a settled side and players mostly playing in their correct positions and with a far smaller playing budget.

But I wouldn't be arrogant enough to suggest it was "a safe bet". :)

Fancy a bet then?

Proceeds to the REMF?
