PLEASE don't let us go anywhere near Matt Richards. He is so, so poor defensively and, in my opinion, one of the most over-rated left backs we've had in recent years. He's decent enough on the ball but past that I can't see what people saw in him. Our current great form is based on a defensive solidity that Richards would not be able to contribute to. He would be a step backwards.

i don't think richards is THAT bad, he's a decent league 1 left back, just not good enough for us at the moment

he was a decent player in a poor team
